Abstract Art
Expressive abstract paintings created through intuition, movement, and colour
Meditative flow meets raw energy – where intuition makes its mark
About My Art Practice
My paintings emerge from spontaneity, intuition, and flow – marks and colours unfolding freely until rhythm and form appear.
Influenced by the raw energy and spirit of abstract expressionism, I allow each work to grow instinctively rather than follow a plan. The process is meditative, playful, and alive, with shapes and movement arising in unexpected ways.
Recent series include small expressive works on paper, framed and ready to share, alongside larger canvases currently in progress. With new collections unfolding each month, my aim is to create openly and offer art that invites freedom, colour, and imagination.
Each painting is a discovery, not a plan
Current Series
Heart of the Action
This series (above) of six small paintings bursts with colour and spontaneity, each one emerging directly from creative intuition and flow. Painted in acrylic on paper, they are mounted and framed in A3, with the artworks themselves close to A4 in size. The process was free, instinctive, and alive—marks unfolding naturally without plan. Heart of the Action is the first in a new cycle of collections, with fresh series launching each month.
Earlier explorations that continue to resonate
Above are three from the ‘22 Series‘ – from, you guessed it, 2022. I still love these. There’s been an art-gap for me since then until recently. I’m now firing on all cylinders again. Let’s go!
